Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. The most famous role she has played is Bo, from the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay who is director of drama and producer in St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her most fond memories of watching TV and going to rehearsals for plays. Silk appeared as a little model in a commercial. Her Bachelor of Arts was conferred by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto in November 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Actors Workshop located in Los Angeles, in 2007. They got married in 2009, and were married in a civil ceremony in the month of December in that same year. They renewed their vows April 10th, 2011 in Fredericton, after the woman converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was born May of 2013, and her son was called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th May, 2016. Silk's TV work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009 Silk was a part of the main character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk made it known to her fans that she was pregnant in January 2013 during the Showcase Season Three Special. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the beginning of production for the fourth season and on the 20th of June 2013 Silk tweeted that she was ready to return to work on the show. Silk's portrayal of Bo together with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers who are identical on Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite Television Couples in the year 2013 by CNN (Cable News Network) and declared Top TV Couple in 2013. The same was done by E! Entertainment Television. Silk's popularity has resulted in an enormous online following using social networks.
