Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. Her birthplace was in Stavanger on June 15th, 1996. Her professional name is Aurora. Her name could also be stylized in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is released in May of 2015 from Decca Records. It has been praised by the media and bloggers. The singer has recorded two high-profile covers Half the World Away by the group Oasis for a Christmas advertisement by John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry shared a tweet that Perry announced her new song Runaway. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes' first musical moment was when she stumbled across a miniature piano in her basement and bewildered by the sound it created. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents, May Britt Aksnes, and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to take up music for a love rather than a profession. In order to do so she wrote her first new compositions. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her most favored composers. To counter her mother's suggestions that her children shouldn't be trying to be famous through the songs she writes, but rather be aware of the significance of them and the impact they have on society. The piano was her first instrument at age six and creating music when she was nine. It wasn't until her 14th birthday that she revealed her plans to her parents. Aurora was not a dream of her childhood. The singer claims she is a fan of writing songs. She claims that music is her preferred method to feel anything.
