Holly was divorced at least three times. Holly's first marriage was with the actor Danny Quinn. Both married in 1992, but divorced after two years in 1993. Jim Carrey met her in 1994 while attending the Ace Ventura Pet Detective auditions. Though she wasn't given the role, the two developed a strong bond while filming Dumb and Dumber. Alaina was born November 8, 1994, her parents being Kristy the late J. J. J. Suddeth of Rossville, Georgia. The place she was born was Rossville, Georgia. Her father is a Chattanooga process engineer. in a choir for children and at an annual resort with karaoke, she performed her first time in public. She sang at church, in restaurants, during family holidays, and wherever she could within a 30- mile distance. Alaina took home the Southern Stars Pageant talent contest aged 8. In the following year, she was selected to perform on the Riverbend Festival's Kids stage, the Talent Stage. In the following years, she performed each year on the stage until 12 when the competition which allowed her to perform at the Festival's main stage was won. At the age of 10 she travelled from Florida across the state to Orlando to participate in The American Model and Talent Competition. She beat over 1,500 kids to win the competition. Alaina performed with Georgia Country Gospel Music Association's children's group. Alaina's first trip to Nashville was when she was of 12 years old. She was a regular at Tootsie's bar, and several other bars along Broadway. Alaina took home the WinniSTAR competition for young talent in 2009 in Lake Winnepesaukah. She also composed songs such as Leaving and Set Me Free. Alaina found her inspiration to sing through Holly Witherow. Holly was suffering with a brain tumour. Alaina was a Pizza Hut employee before joining Idol. She earned her degree from Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe School, Fort Oglethorpe Georgia.
